A historic voice in New York graffiti, from the street to the canvas.

Practice
Julius Cavero, known as T-KID 170, grew up in the South Bronx and made graffiti his language. He became recognised for his letter construction, characters and intense use of colour.
From the early 1980s, his work moved from subway trains and walls to canvases and galleries. Today, his practice retains the energy, precision and memory of New York graffiti.
